February 8, 2021: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9. Tom Brady and the Bucs made zero mistakes throughout the whole game, while the Chiefs made several.

This was probably Patrick Mahomes’s worst performance of his career so far as he had a 53% completion percentage, 270 passing yards, 0 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. The Buccaneers defense held Tyreek Hill to only 7 receptions and 73 yards, which is hard to do. Tom Brady showed why he is the G.O.A.T by having a 72.4% completion percentage, 201 passing yards, 3 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions; he now has 7 Super Bowl rings. We also saw vintage Rob Gronkowski as he had 6 receptions, 63 receiving yards, and 2 touchdowns. Leonard Fournette also had a great game, as he rushed for 89 yards along with a rushing touchdown of his own. This Super Bowl LV Buccaneers defensive performance was one of the best the world has ever seen, as the Chiefs offense is extremely tough to stop. The Chiefs were 3/13 on third down and 0/3 when in the redzone, which is not what we usually see from the Chiefs offense.

The Weeknd’s halftime performance was phenomenal as he performed “Starboy,” “The Hills,” “Can’t Feel My Face,” “I Feel It Coming,” “Save Your Tears,” “Earned It,” and “Blinding Lights.” This performance was certainly one of the best Super Bowl halftime shows of all time. As far as commercials, we saw multiple new commercials, some including famous celebrities including Drake, Will Ferrell, and Bruce Springsteen.

The unforgettable 2020 NFL season has unfortunately ended. We have now entered the offseason. Many star players will be seen in different uniforms via trade or the player(s) choosing to sign with a different team. Some of those star players are Allen Robinson, Aaron Jones, Kenny Golladay, and Dak Prescott. The NFL Draft is also an exciting event that takes place over the offseason and this 2021 draft class is stacked with talent. Trevor Lawrence and Devonta Smith are the big names, including multiple others entering the draft which takes place on April 29th.

As for NY Jets fans, the future’s looking bright even though they finished 2-14 this past season. They just hired a whole new coaching staff, including a new head coach. Robert Saleh was the San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator this past season and most Jets players and fans seem to be happy with this hiring process. Texans QB Deshaun Watson, who’s one of the best QB’s in the league, has requested a trade and the Jets could be a team trying to acquire him. The Jets also own the 2nd pick in the draft, which is another way to find their new QB that they need.
