Weekly Roundup: March 5th, 2019
March 5, 2019
It’s officially March, which means spring has practically begun, and summer is just around the corner! Though it may just feel like another boring week in Sag Harbor, tons of fun things are taking place in New York this week. It’s Mardi Gras on March 5th, so plenty of restaurants are hosting themed parties and meals this week!
For all the sports fans out there, there is a Nets vs. Mavericks game this Monday the 4th at the Barclays Center. Additionally, the Museum at FIT has pulled together 80 ensembles and is holding Exhibitionism: 50 Years of the Museum at FIT which is taking place now until April 20th, so you have plenty of time to see the beautiful pieces. Movies are coming out this week include; Captian Marvel which comes out March 8th, Among The Shadows on March 5th and Triple Frontier on March 6th.
The most recent political updates involve an Indian fighter jet bombing what was said to be a terrorist training camp in Pakistan: we can assume more of this will be talked about as the week continues. Though this week might seem pretty dull and boring, I encourage everyone to hang in there because spring break will be happening before we know it!
